About Unio Mystica Wellness Center

Unio Mystica is a profound and mystical spiritual concept that means “mystical union.” It is the state in which an individual experiences complete oneness of their soul with the ultimate truth, Brahman, or God. This experience transcends the boundaries of worldly duality (duality), where the individual loses their personal identity (ego) and merges into the divine reality. The meaning of Unio Mystica cannot be fully explained in words, as it is a deeply personal and experiential process that goes beyond intellect and reasoning.

This concept emphasizes the “experience of oneness”, illustrating that the soul and the ultimate truth are not separate entities but two forms of the same reality. To attain this state, one must transcend their ego and material consciousness. It is termed “mystical” because it surpasses the realm of intellect and provides an experience that cannot be fully expressed in ordinary language.

In Indian philosophy, Unio Mystica holds significant importance. Advaita Vedanta describes it as the oneness between the soul (Jivatma) and the ultimate reality (Paramatma). Its core principle, “Brahma Satyam, Jagat Mithya, Jivo Brahmaiva Na Aparah,” implies that Brahman alone is the ultimate reality, and there is no distinction between the soul and Brahman.

The experience of Unio Mystica typically occurs in three stages.

The first stage is "Purification"

where the practitioner disciplines their senses and mind. Through meditation, prayer, and spiritual practice, they strive to rise above worldly attachments.

The second stage is "Illumination"

in which the seeker attains the light of divine knowledge and realizes the omnipresence of God or Brahman.

The final stage is "Union"

where the seeker perceives no distinction between themselves and the divine. This state is characterized by supreme bliss and peace, as the individual becomes wholly one with God.
